Holidays

Your students will create fun, easy-to-read "flip books" for almost every holiday throughout the school year! Each mini-booklet is on a single piece of paper for ease of use! The students color in the delightful pictures, cut them out and place them together to create a booklet in which one word in the sentence is "flipped" up to create a new sentence each time.

For example, for the "Thanksgiving" book the students read "I am thankful for my friends." They then flip up the picture of friends to reveal a picture of a house. They then read "I am thankful for my home." This continues with Food, Pets and, finally, Family.

There are booklets for the following holidays: Birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, St.Patrick's Day, Easter, April Fool's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Father's Day, 4th of July and more.
