With this download you have access to color versions of each flip booklet! That means no more summers spent coloring in samples for your class! Simply press a button and print out a full color copy of the flip book of your choice. Then, print out the same booklet in black and white for the students to create!
Your students will create easy-to-read "flip booklets" that will allow them to identify all of the colors in Italian! Each mini-booklet is on a single piece of paper for ease of use! The students color in the delightful pictures, cut them out and place them together to create a booklet in which the pictured item in the sentence is "flipped" up to create a new sentence each time.
For example, for the "rosso" booklet the students read "La formica è rossa." They flip up the picture of the ant to reveal a picture of a strawberry. They then read "La fragola è rossa." This continues with coccinella, barca and mela to give them five everyday objects that are the same color.
There are booklets for the following colors: rosso, blu, verde, rosa, grigio, arancione, giallo, marrone, viola, nero and bianco.
This download also includes a blank reproducible booklet pattern which allows the teacher and students to create their own flip books for any color. An additional flip book is also included which features a review of the colors in the order of the rainbow and also serves as a counting book.
